2026 Chubasco’s Championships at Huntington Beach Pier

The Chubascos Bodysurfing Association hosted the 18th Annual Chubasco’s Bodysurfing & Handboarding Championships on August 8–9, 2026. Competitors gathered at the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier for two action-packed days of wave-riding across 12 distinct divisions.

Clean morning conditions with steady summer swells offering consistent 2–4 foot peeling shoulders, providing an ideal canvas for high-scoring technical maneuvers and classic wave-riding styles.
